LA FEMME remains an enigma. Hailing from Paris, the group walks the line between erotic avant-pop and lo-fi surf rock. Their music can be flippantly light-hearted or aggressively dark depending on their mood. The one thing is clear though: La Femme is part of the 2010s, a decade that has yet to be written. Their first track called “Sur la Planche’ – On the Board has been described by NME as ” a super-impressive Cure-meets-Tron retread with France Gall vocals and a lovely Libs-esque guitar line at the end”. http://lafemme.bandcamp.com/

FRENCH SOUL PARTY are an indie dance quintet from Huddersfield, UK. Their first track, Greek has been described as “playful, uptempo and clean alternative pop. http://soundcloud.com/french-soul-party

G R E A T W A V E S are a new 2 piece that have played a handful of Manchester shows so far: They supported Mystery Jets’ Kai Fish last year at the Deaf Institute. “Drony guitar/keys combo similar to that of HTRK and Sonic Youths fuzzy vocals”. (Hive Magazine) http://soundcloud.com/mrmanini
