Vibe Out Records are announcing an unmissable launch party for any true lover of hip hop music. Announced by King P in an interview with DJ Semtex on BBC 1Xtra, the event in Manchester will feature a cypher backed by a sixteen piece orchestra, as well as live performances from some of the most exciting new artists in the UK.
The launch party takes place at Kraak on Friday July 31st. The intimate venue will be headlined by a live cypher featuring an incredible sixteen piece hip hop orchestra. Vibe Out artists will be rhyming on stage, as the Abstract Orchestra play a selection of straight hip hop classics that you need to hear live!
First to be confirmed for a live performance is Vibe Out Records label founder King P. Formally known as Probot The Mighty, King P released his first EP in 2012. It featured YDB, the son of Wu-Tang Clan legend Ol’ Dirty Bastard, and Jurassic 5 member Akil The MC. On Akil’s next tour to the UK, he was given the opportunity to open for him. Since then, he has opened for hip hop heavyweights such as De La Soul, Talib Kweli, Jurassic 5 frontman Chali 2na and M.O.P. He has also been able to record with artists such as RUN DMC’s Darryl McDaniels, ‘Because I Got High’ rapper Afroman, Ras Kass and several Wu-Tang Clan affiliates.
